JESUS
We believe that the church is built on Jesus, by Jesus, and for Jesus. Therefore, the focus should be on Jesus and testifying the “Good News” to all.

PEOPLE
People are our greatest asset, and we value all people. Our aim is to invite, celebrate and include the disability community as they are a valuable part of the body of Christ.

INCLUSIVITY
We believe that Jesus calls us to unity. Throughout scripture, God demonstrates inclusivity and requires it of His people.

DIGNITY
We affirm that every person is created in God’s image; all have worth, value, and dignity.

SERVING
We believe that every person has a calling to serve others. We must follow Jesus’ example, in that he came not to be served but to serve to the point of giving his life for others.
V1 Special Needs is the special needs ministry of Visalia First in Visalia, CA, which includes all ages. We exist to share Christ to individuals with special needs, creating an inclusive church environment and helping them become all God has created them to be. Our goal is to break down any barriers that people with disabilities and their families encounter as we empower them to serve within the church body and equip their families to grow in faith.
